Digital Song Stories!

Found some great digital "song stories" on youtube from havefunteaching.com Check this one out on skip conting by 10's. My first graders would totally love this!  If you search youtube, you'll find plenty more!

Great to use for random motor breaks throughout the day without feeling guilty too!

  1. I am so glad my district finally got rid of the restrictions on youtube. I find SO many useful videos on there (I have created an entire penguin unit incorporating a bunch of penguin videos). Although I still worry that the students can now access it. But it is certainly a great tool that all teachers should try out. But don't forget to watch the entire video before showing the whole class... you never know!

  2. My students love the sight word songs on havefunteaching.com. I play them during snack and the kids watch and sing along.

  3. Went back to youtube after reading Beth's comment. There are so many videos by this user! My class loves music and video this year and will really enjoy viewing many of these (although some would have been much more useful at the beginning of the year. Can anyone say Diigo that tag?!
