I completely agree! I try to rotate or "retire" charts as we cycle through different units of study. Some of the anchor charts that I wish I could and/or feel like I have to keep up, I took them down and turned them into mini-charts. The students keep those either in their book bag or writing folder.
What great resources for your students to use! I would assume it helps them to be a bit more independent when they can refer to the chart of what they have already learned.
Great site! Although sometimes I feel if I have to hang one more anchor chart I'm going to scream. My classroom is running out of room!
